Stephanie Baker has been running her own financial planning practice since 2010 when she began the internship program at Northwestern Mutual. She transitioned into a full time career upon graduation from the University of Virginia in May 2011.  In her first year, Stephanie ranked 7th top performing financial representative in the nation who just completed the internship program, earning her the Mike Gish Award. She is consistently in the top quartile for her peer group.

Stephanie's strong track record results from being passionate about helping her clients reach their financial goals. She listens carefully to their vision and helps them fine-tune their personal budgets, increase surplus cash flow, and manage the impact of taxes. She finds it particularly exciting to work with fellow business owners for business continuation planning and implementation of group benefits; physicians and attorneys on student loan repayment, risk management and tax-efficient savings; retirement income and long term care planning; and strategies for saving for children's college educations.

Stephanie and her team provide sound financial advice and creative strategies to guide clients financially throughout their ever-changing lives. She reviews financial plans at least annually to ensure they stay aligned with clients' goals. As in all aspects of life, goals and ideas change. Stephanie's success results from truly believing her clients deserve to live their lives by design, not by default - to successfully realize the future they envision for themselves.
